The Summer Associate Graduate Intern Program is a 10+ week program beginning in June 2022 and ends in August 2022. The long-term intention for this program is to hire interns that prove their aptitude into full time roles. To qualify for an internship, applicants must be currently pursuing a graduate or PHD level degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date after the final day of the internship (December 2022 or later).
Informational Services – Change Management
Job Description Overview:
Change Management exists to balance the organization’s needs for innovation and speed to market with the needs for operational stability, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The Change Management service to IT and Navy Federal includes assessing readiness, risks and impacts of proposed production changes, providing authorization of work prior to production implementation, facilitating a collaborative Change Advisory Board, providing oversight of high risk change implementation windows, and planning large-scale project implementations.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and predictive intelligence capabilities within the organization’s IT Service Management platform to automate portions of the production change risk and impact assessment functions. A wealth of data lies in the system’s Configuration Management database and the historical record of past change activities. Employing these capabilities may provide business benefits that include reducing manual human review, more accurate prediction of a change’s likely outcome and potential impacts to operations and increasing speed of delivery from development to production.
Skills and Experience:
Experience analyzing data and presenting findings and recommendations
Experience evaluating system capabilities and making business value recommendations
Understanding of process design principles
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Understanding of software development lifecycle principles
Understanding of IT service management frameworks
