In this internship, you will be working hands-on on ground robot systems that operate autonomously. You will be working on applied research on advanced AGV topics such as path planning for multi-robot systems, inclusion of other metrics (power, network signal strength) in the navigation of the robots, and application of machine learning to ground robot navigation and localization.
Design and build prototype robotic solutions· Research and develop improvements to our path planning solution· Alternatively, research and develop on multi-robot path planning algorithms· Integrate sensors, actuators, controllers, computers, and other components· Design and implement perception, planning, and control algorithms· Develop and test in both simulation and actual environments · Collaborate with team members to create innovative ideas and rapidly develop proofs-of-concept and prototype solutionsCandidates with skills in robotics hardware, software, or both are invited to apply.
