NV5 is seeking a part-time civil engineering intern for our San Diego, CA office. The engineering internship is designed to expose upcoming graduates to the field of civil engineering and land development as well as the dynamic culture and opportunities within NV5.
The most frequent and essential work activities include:
- Assist staff with technical support for the design of site civil engineering projects.
- Coordinate work with project managers, engineers, designers, and technicians.
- Utilize CAD software to prepare drawings.
- Complete project tasks within deadlines.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Working towards a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
- AutoCAD and/or Microstation skills are a plus
- Excellent writing skills
- Microsoft Office
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license prior to employment-preferred
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- EIT preferred, but not required
