Our 501c3 nonprofit is launching a demonstration project in Rochester, NY, to show the value of activating community networks in service of lowering the carbon footprint of a city or county — while offering commercial property owners a “no brainer” deal to upgrade to clean energy systems. C-PACE financing (Property Assessed Clean Energy) has tremendous potential to retrofit existing buildings and build better new buildings — reducing carbon emissions and saving property owners money. It’s a win/win/win/win… for business through saving on energy costs, and for the public through job creation and reduced carbon emissions.
The duties may include some or all of the following, depending on the skillsets the intern has, and is interested in developing, including communicating with civic officials, contractors, commercial property owners and the general public via phone, zoom, webinar, video, social media, blogs, networking.
