Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking a Technical Editor possessing or capable of obtaining a DoD security clearance and at least three years of experience to perform writing and editing of new and existing tactical Navy Doctrinal Publications at the Undersea Warfighting Development Center (UWDC) in Groton, CT.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Reviewing and editing U.S. Submarine Force tactical doctrine publications
-
Maintaining version control of over 60 different publications

Reviewing and issuing changes to all U.S. Submarine Force tactical publications

Collaborating with subject matter experts to confirm, clarify, and accurately communicate content within a document or training products

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English or related field

Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

At least three years of technical writer or editor experience

Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
Preferred qualifications:
- Possessing an active DoD government SECRET security clearance
