The Brigid Alliance seeks a passionate, diligent, and collaborative Development/Operations Intern interested in supporting the backbone of our growing organization. This remote internship is a fantastic opportunity to learn about working at a non-profit, the ins and outs of development and operations, and the evolving abortion access landscape and reproductive justice movement. Anticipated start date is late May 2021 extending through August 2021.
The Brigid Alliance (501c3) is a nation-wide practical support organization that provides client centered support to individuals who must travel long distances for later abortion care, and who cannot afford to do so. We work in partnership with independent and nationally affiliated clinics, abortion funds, local and regional practical support organizations.
Since launching in August of 2018, we have assisted almost 1,450 individuals and families from 45 states. We are a crucial part of the reproductive health ecosystem connecting the geographic and metaphorical dots between policy, providers, practice, and patient. By alleviating the logistical barriers and financial obstacles of access to care, we are working to ensure that everyone has access to abortion care, no matter where they live.
