Salary: $39,000 – $42,000/year based on experience
General Statement of Responsibility: This individual will provide culturally appropriate advocacy to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, financial exploitation, and neglect with a focus on those who are elderly, disabled, non-English speaking, LGTBQ, and/or other underserved populations. Additional responsibilities will include assisting victims with orders for protection, safety planning, coordination with and facilitation of outreach to local and governmental social services agencies, and making referrals to resources in the community.
Essential Functions: 1. Provides crisis intervention for clients experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking. 2. Serves as liaison between FJC and community-based organizations to coordinate information and services for victims of crime. 3. Maintains documentation required documentation of client interactions for program evaluations and grant reporting.
