Professor Devin Pope is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work as a full-time research assistant for a period of at least one year. The preferred start date is July 1, 2021 although accommodations can be made for an earlier or later start. The review of applications will begin on March 8, 2021.
The job will entail close collaboration on a number of new and ongoing projects in applied behavioral economics with Professor Pope. Previous research assistants of Professor Pope and other faculty at Booth have gone on to Ph.D. programs at top schools around the country.

The ideal candidate will have (i) a strong quantitative background, (ii) strong computer skills including programming, (iii) the ability to work independently to solve problems, and (iv) a long-term interest in pursuing research in economics and/or psychology. Background in economics is a plus, but not necessary. Candidates with strong technical backgrounds who are looking for more exposure to economics will be considered. An annual salary of $50,000 and standard benefits such as health insurance are provided.
