SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP

Software testing

Development of Product Inspection or Web Gauging software products

Assist with algorithm research by gathering machine data and quantifying and summarizing the results

Work with the development team to understand the new features being created to then create test plans for those new features and execute them.

Conduct system (combined software / electronic / mechanical) prototype verification testing.

Possible automated test software development

Possible software feature development Interns can be responsible for testing data records, notebooks and computerized data storage. Additionally Interns are asked to make detailed observations and analyze data to ensure we are operating within expected parameters

Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited Bachelor’s/Masters degree in a related engineering, science or life science discipline
- PREFERRED MAJORS: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related major

C/C++/C# language experience preferred. Python language would be helpful. Java language could be applicable, if agreeable to learning the first languages listed.

Software being developed is primarily for “machines”, not web, not business, not databases.
