Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, to plan projects; Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine design specifications; Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensured conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards; Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site; Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction; Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility; Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel; and Coordinate and manage people, materials, and equipment, budgets, schedules, and contracts; and safety of employees and the general public.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related field is required. In addition, at least two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related position such as Assistant Project Manager or any role with similar job duties. Full term of experience must include analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings, and blueprints. Must have 30 Hour OSHA. Any suitable combination of education, experience or training will be accepted.
