Other responsibilities of this position are:Evaluate and respond to incoming internal and external customer product compliance requests.Responsible for day-to-day departmental functions supporting Wacker business divisions to ensure Wacker product regulatory compliance.Activities include: chemical hazard review and hazard classification, creating Safety Data Sheets; reviewing raw materials and lab chemical hazards; supporting Wacker’s Material Approval Form process; label creation; DOT Dangerous Goods Transportation Classification; procedure organization and maintenance; supporting SAP EH&S order and delivery issues; SAP EH&S data maintenance; SAP EH&S label support; and responding to customer requests. QualificationsAssociate’s Degree in a science discipline; preferably chemistry or biology. A Bachelor’s degree in a Science discipline is preferred.Minimum of two years related experience in the chemical industry or lab environment preferredWorking experience with OSHA chemical hazard classification per Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling (GHS) guidelines preferred.
