As Environmental Specialist II, you’ll need functional/technical knowledge and skills in areas of air, water and/or waste. In this role, you’ll solve a range of straight-forward situations as you continue to broaden your capabilities.

Ideally, we would like to fill this position in Duluth, GA, but other areas in SC or NC will be considered.
Provides guidance on environmental processes/policies
Assesses environmental risk, assists in determining the appropriate course of action, including required regulatory documentation
Prepares and submits applications to procure environmental permits, renewals, approvals, variances, and other authorizations and coordinates with stakeholders
Conducts required environmental training to stakeholders
Possesses functional/technical knowledge and skills in areas of air, water and/or waste
Assists with the preparation of all required compliance reports/certifications and development and maintenance of documentation related to environmental compliance programs
Researches governmental and industry standards for compliance requirements
Assists with the preparation of environmental reports, plans and inventories for regulatory authorities

Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years’ environmental experience
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
