WSP is currently initiating a search for a Civil Engineering Internship (Transportation) for our Dallas, Texas office for Fall 2021.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design using various types of CADD design software
Perform basic calculations and functions
Assist with field work
Document research and field investigation
Assist developing and writing reports

Current standing as a Rising Junior, Senior or Graduate student actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering Undergraduate or Graduate program
Experience with basic computer software, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
Self-motivated with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have completed basic foundational courses: Intro to Engineering, Engineering Drafting Course
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP”s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP”s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Local candidates preferred. Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship.
Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Familiarity with the AASHTO Green Book and Manual of Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
