The Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance (YANA) is looking to hire 1-2 summer interns to help with development, operations, and programming.
YANA is a growing, social impact organization with over 8,000 members and many chapters around the world. We provide community for those in or seeking to join the social impact space, as well as provide connections, resources, and amplification of social minded messages. Two of our signature programs are the YANA-Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship and our fiscal sponsorship of GoSouth.
Summer Interns will assist the YANA Executive Director and the Communications director with daily operations and special projects as-needed including —
Supporting Summer Fellows
Coordinate and facilitate occasional meetings and events with Go South summer fellows and 1-2 events for YANA-Dwight Hall summer fellows and YANA donors
Build and coordinate a YANA-Dwight Hall Summer Fellowship alumni group
Development and Fundraising
Assist with YANA outreach to convert contacts to donors
Help YANA plan fall Annual Gala
Developing YANA fundraising collateral
Coordinate YANA and Go South virtual summer event
Assist with YANA programming, calendaring same; researching, recommending, and recruiting speakers
Setting up events in ZOOM and working with YANA Communications Manager for announcements
Help manage live ZOOM events
If interested and skilled, research and implement more dynamic video functions for programs and event
