The Yale Scleroderma Program is seeking a bright, detail-oriented, self-motivated, clinical research coordinator with a “can-do attitude” for a full-time position starting May 2021. The lab has several ongoing clinical (patient-focused) research studies, and the clinical coordinator will have the opportunity to work directly with patients and conduct patient-focused biomedical research. You will have the opportunity to:
1. Consent study participants and coordinate research study visits for sample and data collection
2. Work with OnCore, Yale University’s Clinical Trials Management System, to develop and maintain study participant and biospecimen tracking
3. Build study specifications for electronic case report forms (eCRFs) in REDCap for clinical data collection
4. Organize, enter, and monitor information for effective data management in OnCore, REDCap and other electronic data capture systems for clinical trials
5. Register and manage data from study participants throughout the lifecycle of clinical studies
6. Collect, process, track/store and ship biospecimens
7. Work in collaboration with researchers to assist in designing the initial project scope, study inclusion requirements, and measurable outcomes for patient-focused research
8. Edit research protocols, informed consent forms and budgets and work with the Office of Sponsored Projects, Yale Center for Clinical Investigation, and Yale’s Institutional Review Board to receive approval for clinical studies
