Serrae Reed
Career Strategy Fellow
Serrae is a PhD candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. Her research focuses on tuning the electronic properties of 2D materials via surface functionalization with organic electron donors. She is also involved in Yale’s graduate chapter of the Society of Women Engineers as the STEM Outreach Chair. Prior to Yale, she earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. A Houston-native herself, Serrae enjoys trying out new restaurants, listening to jazz, and doing yoga.
