Laurel O. Peterson earned her PhD in the History of Art from Yale University in 2018. She specializes in British art of the long eighteenth century, with a particular interest in the history of drawing. Prior to joining the YCBA, she was the Moore Curatorial Fellow at the Morgan Library & Museum, where her exhibitions included John Singer Sargent: Portraits in Charcoal (2019) and Architecture, Theater, and Fantasy: Bibiena Drawings from the Jules Fisher Collection (2021).
