Robyn’s lunchtime talk with our Environmental Studies majors was super helpful.  She had useful information for students of all class ranks.  For seniors, Robyn demystified the process of looking for a job, showing students how to customize the OCS newsletter for their own career interests, how to use OCS resources for job fair and networking leads, and most importantly, giving them courage to ask for help finding a job and knowing where and how to ask.  For the sophomores and juniors, Robyn explained how the Yale student grants and fellowships process works and where to find information about summer employment and internship funding.  She was helped in her presentation by a graduating EVST senior whose connection to OCS early in his college career led to summer employment and eventually to a great full-time job after graduation.

Most of our students are interested in careers that benefit the public and the planet and I consider Robyn a key ally because of what OCS and she can do to help them make an impact beyond their time at Yale.
