Dr. Ryan Clasby earned his PhD in Anthropology from Yale University in 2014. He currently serves as the Curator for Global Indigenous Art and Lifeways at the Spencer Museum of Art, where he oversees the care, research, and exhibition of the museum’s Global Indigenous Arts collection. His academic work explores the art and archaeology of the Andes and the Amazon regions. In addition to his curatorial role, Dr. Clasby has taught anthropology and museum studies at institutions such as Skidmore College.
