Tayah obtained her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Youngstown State University in Ohio. She then went on to pursue her PhD in Chemistry from Yale. She studied chemical biology, investigating the role of the gut microbiome in Jason Crawford’s lab. Throughout her studies, she has been passionate about leadership, communication, and infusing creativity into her work. After graduating, Tayah worked as a part of Yale Venture’s Corporate Strategy and Engagement Office, bridging academic and corporate relations. Currently, she works as a consultant at Bain & Company in Washington DC. She also is a certified spinning instructor who loves to help others reach their goals!
