Summer Experience Grant

The Summer Experience Grant (SEG) is a one-time, non-competitive award for eligible Yale College students who receive Yale financial aid. The SEG provides funding for either a Yale Summer Session (YSS) Abroad or Yale in London program; or an eligible domestic professional development experience.

The SEG Study Abroad Option is available to Yale College first-year, sophomore, and junior students who meet financial aid eligibility.

The SEG Professional Development Option is available to Yale College sophomore and junior students who meet financial aid eligibility.

Students who meet financial aid eligibility may receive funding for one of the two options over the course of their time at Yale.
