Undergraduate and graduate students currently studying in the New York City
Metropolitan Area, Connecticut, and New Jersey are encouraged to apply to the
Holocaust Educator School Partnership internship for the Fall 2024 semester.
The Holocaust Educator School Partnership is a paid internship program at the
Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust in New York
City. Interns attend an eight-day training, learning to teach the history of the
Holocaust in classroom and Museum gallery settings. Interns are assigned to work
with partnering middle schools and high schools, educating students in their
schools and at the Museum. Interns must commit one day each week during the
semester to carrying out their internship duties. This internship is a fantastic learning opportunity. Many interns go on to teach in museums and schools and pursue further academic study in this area.
