Teach for China (TFC) is a non-profit organization, which tackles the serious imbalance of educational resources between urban and rural areas. TFC is a network partner of “Teach for all”, a global education initiative that includes Teach for America, a branch based in the US.
TFC is dedicated to making quality education accessible to every child in China, especially catering to underprivileged minorities. With more than 2550 teachers delivering over two million lessons at 318 primary and secondary schools across rural parts of China, TFC has impacted close to 680 000 disadvantaged students living in those areas in the last 12 years.
