This position will report to either the Senior Manager or Director Privacy & Security with oversight from the Chief Privacy & Security Officer. The Privacy Intern will be a part of CCA’ Privacy & Security, led by the Chief Privacy & Security Officer. The Privacy & Security Department is responsible for establishing and maintaining an enterprise vision, strategy and program to secure CCA’s information assets, services, and the products that depend on them, thus, building trust with customers and stakeholders, and protecting the privacy of CCA’s customers and employees.
POSITION SUMMARY
CCA’s Privacy & Security department is seeking a highly motivated law, graduate student (MHA, MPH, or other masters with an emphasis in either privacy or health administration) who has completed at least 1 year of course work or recent grad (1 year or less) with a passion for privacy to support the Privacy & Security team across a range of complex privacy projects. The selected intern will work with subject matter experts on CCA’s Privacy & Security team on a variety of projects, such as U.S. state privacy law development, privacy-enhancing technology implementation, and data-driven digital transformation initiatives. The selected intern will also support the Privacy & Security Department Department to prepare for its annual training delivery to the organization.
The internship presents a unique opportunity to work within one of CCA’s central functions, as well as to consult with privacy, legal and business stakeholders across CCA’s diverse organization
This is a remote role. However, there may be an opportunity to visit your offices at some point during the internship.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support the Privacy Department with a range of central projects benefiting the privacy, legal and business stakeholder community within the CCA group companies.
- Assist with the Privacy & Security Department’s annual privacy training presentation preparing presentation materials, supporting virtual attendees, and handling administrative tasks.
- Support the preparation and review of legal, regulatory and industry updates, guidance, and legal memoranda for the wider CCA privacy community.
- Research, analyze and summarize various technical privacy requirements and developments, such as state-specific requirements, tracking technologies.
- Research, analyze and document the privacy regulatory landscape in geographies of interest to CCA.
- Draft memoranda, deliverables, and meeting materials
- Update and maintain recordkeeping for internal cross-group initiatives.
- Review and update draft policies, processes and templates.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting summaries and follow-up actions

- This is a remote role. However, there may be an opportunity to visit your offices at some point during the internship.
- All internships will be paid standard and competitive rates for undergraduate and graduate levels ($23 and $25 per hour respectively). Internships are expected to be full-time through the duration of the program.
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- Law, or Graduate student currently enrolled (at least 1 year of course work completed) or a recent graduate within the last year
- Proficiency with at least two of the following: Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint and/or Excel
