Non-profit (Uncommon Heroes Foundation): Internship for marketing professionals
Are you passionate about making a difference? The Uncommon Heroes Foundation is excited to extend an opportunity to gain experience in the non-profit and startup realm. We are seeking creative Yalies with a strong sense of purpose to join us as a Digital Media and Marketing Lead volunteers.
The Uncommon Heroes Foundation is a newly established non-profit organization that provides unique support to active-duty women serving within US Special Operations. Co-founded by a fellow Yalie and active-duty service woman, our mission is to address the unique challenges faced by these extraordinary women.
The women in Special Operations conduct missions with exceptional complexity and intensity, placing significant strain on their physical and mental well-being, often resulting in accelerated burnout. With women comprising less than seven percent of this male-dominated field, there is a clear need for tailored female resources and wellness programs which are not provided through the military.
The Uncommon Heroes Foundation aims to fill this crucial gap by offering tailored and expense-free wellness programs, not by the military, that will enable these women to serve longer from a position of strength. These programs include vital services such as fertility and family planning, acupuncture and other stress relief options, community-building initiatives, and mentorship opportunities.
If you’re eager to make a meaningful impact and play a pivotal part to a cause that truly matters, join our team at the Uncommon Heroes Foundation! Please feel free to contact us to learn more about this exciting opportunity.
